The Blessing of El-ahrairah

This is an oil painting based on one of my all-time favorite books, Watership Down. Some of the concepts are borrowed from the animated version that was released in 1978--most notably the look of Frith. I wanted a painting based on this book, and I figured if I wanted it done right, I'd better do it myself. Its VERY difficult to get a good photo of this because the media is very glossy and shiny. It's so gorgeous in person. I'm sorry you can't see it in this photo. If I can get a better scan of it at some point, I will replace this.
